About the Mission:

For more than 10 years now, we have been honored to be asked to lead the Candor 4th of July Parade, one of the largest in all of Central New York. It is rich with tradition and draws crowds in the hundreds. This year I will hand off the lead to fellow PGR Member Sam Cornwell, since this is his hometown event. I will follow with my truck and beautifully wrapped Wreaths Across America Trailer that I use each year to haul 2 loads of Veterans Christmas Wreaths to the many National and private cemeteries we service all across Central New York honoring over 100,000 Veterans.   At the end of this mission, we will all congregate at the Candor American Legion for all the festivities and bagpipe rivalry that comes with it.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
