About the Mission: The family of U.S. Army Private Angel A. Barrios - Crespo, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to attend, as they pay their final respects to this American Hero.
Private 1st class Crespo performed his duty during the Korean War, he was assigned to Weapons Ordnance, while attached to the 25th Armored Recon. Company.
During the Korean War, the 25th experienced one of the heaviest battles of the war. During that time, the "Running of the Gauntlet of Kunu-RI" was one of the worst battles of this war! Many Americans were killed or captured! Private Crespo was awarded the Bronze Star with 2 Gold Leafs, United Nations Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Special Information: Per the family request, there will be no calling hours.
We will form up at the Cemetery.
I would like to request an Army Veteran to carry the U.S. Army flag. I will provide the flag and pole. Please call or email the Ride Captain if interested.
At the present time, I have been advised that the Honor Guard WILL NOT be present.
I may require a PGR member to assist with my vehicle broadcast system, as we play a recording of "Taps"
