Mission Update from RC Wayne Cohen;

For Patriot Guard Riders wishing to ride to Staten Island together, please stage in parking lot behind the Blue Bay Diner on the northwest corner of Horace Harding Blvd (Long Island Expressway) and Francis Lewis Blvd in Queens at 8:45AM.
The procession should leave Our Lady of Good Council at about 12:15PM for arrival at Moravian Cemetary, 2205 Richmond Avenue, Staten Island, at around 12:30PM.
If staging directly at Cemetery, please arrive in plenty of time.
Large bike flags are OK for escort on Staten Island.
I do not have extra flags - please bring your own.

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been asked to stand and honor Ralph Castrelo, US Air Force, Korean war veteran. He was a member of the Larry Harlow Orchestra Band which were the first to use inner city instruments to play Latin Rock & Roll. Details: Funeral mass on Wednesday 4/26/17 at 11am, followed by burial.  

Remember to bring your flags for an honor line at the church and again at the cemetery. Region 8 members please try to make an extra attempt to honor this veteran as the family stated he would have loved the honor.
