ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the U.S. Naval Service of Fred Andrews, who passed away on 22 January 2018 at the age of 87. A native of Boston, NY, Mr. Andrews served during the Korean War aboard the USS New Jersey as a Gunner's Mate in the 16" aft turret, and was later promoted to Fire Control Director. Full Military Service information is pending.

Assemble in preparation for Dignified Escort of family. KSU at 8:30 a.m. American Legion Riders will also participate.

Escort to Maplewood Cemetery, 8475 Boston State Road, Boston, NY, 14025 for Interment with Military Honors at 10:00 a.m. ( Length of Escort is approx. 27 miles)

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American Flag or US Navy flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are properly placed and securely attached for the escort at highway speeds.

Flags & Water:

Flags will not be provided, please bring your own.
Large Bike Flags will be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

This staging is for those unable to participate in the Escort from Machias. Please assemble at the Cemetery and be prepared with a Flag Line for arrival of the contingent.
Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American Flag or US Navy flag. Graveside Service scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
