We have been asked to escort and stand in honor of United States Air Force veteran Alan C. Arno who passed away on April 14, 2018

Al honorably served his country in the US Air Force as a Staff Sergeant between 1972 - 1979, with a specialization in munitions systems. He was a tool maker and CNC Machinist for SKF in Hornell, and a Lathe Operator at Foster Wheeler in Dansville. For a period of time he was the owner and operator of Al’s Garage in North Hornell. He served as past Junior Governor of the Hornell Loyal Order of Moose, past Commander of the Turner-Schrader American Legion Post 34 in Shortsville, NY, past Commander of Sons of the American Legion Squadron Shortsville, NY, past Commander of the Sons of the American Legion, Ontario County and member of the Canisteo American Legion Post 846.

We will be traveling on Rt. 86 and will be moving at highway speed. Anyone flying flags, please make certain that they are safely secured

Anyone not able not able to participate in the escort, please form a flag line for our arrival at the interment shelter in Bath National Cemetery

Parking for PGR will be at the flagpole at the top of cemetery hill. Dress accordingly for the weather
