Honor Mission

Ronald K. Wharton, Sr., Veteran
USN - Korea

MULTI-CITY, New York - 27 Feb 2018

Ron served in the US Navy during the Korean War as a radio man. Ron was a member of VFW Post 1498 most recently and had been a member of other Legion and VFW in the past

For 35 years he worked as an electrical engineer / technical metallurgist at the Watervliet Arsenal. He was an intelligent and kind man with a humor that could not hide the little devil inside. He loved to keep his mind and his hands busy and could often be found fixing something that needed repair or tinkering in his yard. He was a devout Catholic. He was a family man considered his most precious gift to be that of his entire family.

The Patriot Guard Riders are honored to be there to render honor, dignity, and respect for the life and service of Ronald K Wharton Sr.
