ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested by the family of Christopher Jay Clark to participate in his military honors funeral services. Christopher, 46, passed on Saturday, December 9, 2017.

Born in Glens Falls, Chris attended Argyle Central School and later graduated from Marana High School in Tucson, Arizona. In 1989, he enlisted in the US Army and for his service, was awarded the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Meritorious Service Medal (4th award), Army Commendation Medal (3rd award), Army Achievement Medal (5th Award), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), the National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (3rd Award), Army service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd award), NATO Medal, UN Medal, Air Assault Badge, Basic Marksmanship Qualification Badge, and the Drill Sergeant Identification Badge. He was Honorably discharged at the rank of First Sergeant (E8).
