Dedication Mission

Gold Star Families Memorial Monument

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The PGR has been requested to attend a dedication ceremony for the installation of a Gold Star Families Memorial Monument at the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 6632 Rt. 96A, Romulus, NY. Honored guest and speaker will be Woody Williams (age 94) Medal of Honor recipient from Iwo Jima. Woody will be there along with others for this wonderful dedication. This is indeed an honor for the PGR to be requested.

Special Instructions:

Stage just inside the main gate on the right side of the road leaving room for family & friends to pass.

Dedication ceremony time 2:00 P.M. lasting approx. 50 minutes. I will pre-stage at 11:00 A.M. at the corner of route 332 & 96 in Farmington, NY and KSU 11:15 SHARP. Head south to Canandaigua then to Geneva to Romulus. As always, be alert to updates or changes. I do ask those who have patches on their vests or jackets with possible offensive words or comments to cover for this event with tape, I thank you for this request.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
