HOTH Mission

Warrior Weekend, Veteran

Rhinecliff, New York - 06 Oct 2017


Once again, The Kingston American Legion Post 150 and VFW are hosting "Warrior Weekend". Ambulatory, wounded Veterans, from military hospitals will be brought to Kingston, along with their families, for a weekend of rest, relaxation, and honor. These Vets will be treated to dinners, boat rides, museums, and shopping. All at their own leisure and pleasure. They will be taken out of the hospital, and given a chance, to temporarily forget about their injuries. This process is vital to their healing and recovery.

The event is requesting motorcycle (PGR) set up a flag line at the Rhinecliff Train station on River Rd. in Rhinecliff, NY at 4;30 pm for the 4:55 train arrival. As soon as all Vets are in limos/buses, motorcycles will be led by LEO and escorted to the Kingston Marriot Residence Inn, on Frank Sottile Blvd. A second flag line will be set up as well.

Special Instructions:

The PGR will be joined by other motorcycle groups at the intersection of River Rd. and Route 199 before crossing the Kingston/Rhinecliff bridge. After crossing bridge, the route will take Route 32 South to Sottile Blvd. and into the parking lot of the hotel. All bikes will park around back, to facilitate room for limos, and other guests.
After the Vets have checked into the hotel, they will be taken (no escort) to the Kingston VFW, on East Chester St. to a reception & dinner. All motorcycles are invited to attend.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
