The family of retired U.S. Army 1Sgt Charles L. Hadley has asked us to stand a flag line during his Celebration of Life and then escort the creamains of he and his wife to Grove Cemetery where they will be laid to rest together.

1Sgt Hadley was a career aviation soldier serving from 1955 to 1976 completing 4 consecutive tours of duty in Vietnam.

1Sgt Hadley is a highly decorated veteran, honors and awards include the Bronze Star, the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, 5 Good Conduct Medals, 4 National Defense Medals, 6 Armed Forces Expeditionary Medals, Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze and Silver Stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Leaf, Aircraft Crew Badge and Expert M16 Rifle Badge.

Staging Time: 1130 - We will then move to the Pavilion out back of the Legion to form a Flag Line to receive the family for the Celebration of Life Ceremony.

Then at 1pm, we will escort 1Sgt Hadley, his wife and family to:

Grove Cemetery on East Morris Street for the interment services with full military honors.

Flags & Water:
Flags Will NOT Be Provided, Please Bring Your Own.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
