Members,

It's that time of year again and the Blue Star Mother's have again requested our presence for their "Light of Love" tree-lighting ceremony in Canandaigua.

Stage: 12:30 PM  Sun, Dec 1st, 2013

Location: Kershaw Park gazebo, Lakeshore Dr., Canandaigua, NY

MAP

The Patriot Guard Riders will form a flag line in front of the gazebo while members of the Armed Services place a star on the Christmas tree to represent the local men and women serving in each branch of the military.

This is a wonderful ceremony that the PGR has been invited to for the past few years and the Blue Star Mothers have been very appreciative of our participation.

Bring your American flags to fly, but feel free to bring flags for military branches, POW/MIA, PGR, etc., as well. I have flags for the Army, Navy, USMC and Air Force if anyone would like to use them (you'll need a pole), just let me know. Anyone have a Coast Guard flag? Bring it along. This ceremony is all about the community showing the Christmas spirit to those who protect us in the service of our country.

Hope to see you all there and, as always, thank you for everything you do!
