The family of Capt. Joseph T. Aiello, US Army Ret., has invited the PGR to provide a flag line for calling hours on Thursday, May 31, and an escort and flag line for services on Friday, June 1 in Frankfort, NY. 

Capt. Aiello, 93, whose grandson Joseph Aiello is a PGR member, served in World War II with the First Infantry Division, “The Big Red One.”  He was awarded 2 Silver Stars, 2 Bronze Stars, and 3 Purple Hearts for his bravery.  Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

Staging 1:30 p.m. at Funeral home

We will escort the funeral procession past several places in Frankfort of importance to the deceased and family and then to Our Lady Queen of Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 412 Frankfort St., Frankfort for services at 2:30 p.m.
