Dennis A. Searles

US Army - Vietnam Era

Multi-City, New York - 12-14-18

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand for and honor Mr. Dennis A. Searles. Dennis, 73, passed on Monday, December 10, 2018.

Born in Middle Falls, NY, Dennis was inducted into the US Army on January 12, 1967. He was trained as a Light Weapons Infantryman (MOS11B20), and completed a one year tour of duty in Germany. For his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Marksman Badge (Rifle), and Expert Badge (Pistol). Dennis was honorably discharged on December 20, 1968 at the rank of SP4 (E-4).

Dennis was the Head Wash Man at Our Lady of Hope Residence in Latham for 31 years, retiring in 2012. He was also the caretaker of Content Farms for over 21 years.

Staging with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. Funeral services scheduled for  10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Saratoga National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.

Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Staging at the cemetery for a 12:30 scheduled interment. Members arriving early can form flag line at the entrance for the arrival of the procession. Please stage quietly and be aware of any services already in progress.
