ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand for and honor US Army WWII Veteran Mr. Edward J. Malachowski, Sr. Mr. Malachowski, 90, passed on Friday, November 30.

Born in Schenectady, Edward enlisted in the US Army on 6 April 1946 and was trained as a Medical Aidman (MOS 657). He served in occupied Japan from 3 November 1946 to 5 August 1947, earning the WWII Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal Japan, and the WWII Lapel Pin. He was honorably discharged on 25 September 1947.

After the War, he was employed by General Electric in Schenectady, retiring after 43 years.

Staging at the church with flag line for the arrival of the funeral procession. Mass of Christian Burial scheduled for 09:30 a.m., followed by interment at Saratoga National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.
