ABOUT THE MISSION:

DHL Cargo Airlines has invited us to participate in their 15th annual Trees for Troops event. The festivities begin at Dees' Nursery in Oceanside at 10:00 a.m. sharp. There will be a ceremony taking place at Dees' followed by a police escort to JFK to the DHL Cargo Building where we will help load one of the tractor trailers full of trees onto the plane. We plan to leave Dees' at 11:00 a.m. and arrive at JFK at 11:45 a.m. There will be a short ceremony at DHL as soon as Santa Claus himself arrives to greet local schoolchildren via DHL Helicopter.

After the trees are loaded we are invited for lunch in the DHL building upstairs. You must have Photo ID with you if you plan on going inside for lunch.
