ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Louis R. DiGiulio has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. DiGiullio, 94, passed on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

Born in Rochester, NY, Mr. DiGiulio entered the US Army on December 9, 1942. He served as a General Clerk (MOS 055) with the 1st Army, with duty stations in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. For his service, he was awarded the Europe-Africa-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal w/5 Bronze Service Stars, the Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Lapel Pin. He was honorably discharged on December 15, 1955 at the rank of Technician 5th Class (T5).

After the War, he went on to earn a Masters Degree in Education from Niagara University, and retired from the New York State Department of Education.

The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to have the opportunity to stand for and render dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of Mr. Louis R. DiGiulio, United States Army veteran and "Greatest Generation" Hero.

Staging at the funeral home with flag line for arrival of family and guests. Service scheduled for 11:00 a.m.. Following services, members will make their own way to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment services.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
