ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Harold W. Krambeck has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Krambeck, 89, passed on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.

Born in Moline, Illinois, Mr. Krambeck enlisted in the United States Army in August of 1948. He was chosen to serve with the 3rd Infantry Regiment, "The Old Guard", as a Commander of the Relief and Sentinel at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from May of 1949 to March of 1952. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal, receiving the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Badge, the second-least awarded badge in the US Military.

Following his service, Mr. Krambeck was employed by the Universal Match Corporation until his retirement. He was a 34 year member of the American Legion Post 184 in Hudson, NY, where he served as Commander for several years.

The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to have the opportunity to stand for and render dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of Mr. Harold W. Krambeck, United States Army veteran.
