ABOUT THE MISSION:

David passed away August 31, 2018 at home in Florida. David was born in South Glens Falls, New York and lived for a short time in Bolton Landing and then returned to South Glens Falls.

He joined the Army National Guard and was stationed in Oceanside California. David was then shipped to England with the 90th Infantry Regiment, 359th, and was deployed to Utah Beach on day one where he was injured and received a Purple Heart.

His career involved many positions in politics, including Weights and Measures Director for Saratoga County. He was head of the Republican party in Moreau and later served as Sergeant-at-Arms in the New York Assembly under Governor Nelson Rockefeller.

His most memorable moments were those spent in the Adirondacks and on Lake George. He was past Commander Lake George Power Squadron. His hobbies included woodcarving, fishing and restoring antique weapons.
