Malcolm Spires

U.S. Army - Cold War Era
Law Enforcement

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of US Army Corporal and Nassau County Police Sergeant Malcolm Spires has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his funeral services.

Mr Spires honorably executed his duties to our nation in the US Army from 1953 through 1955. He then joined the Reserves, serving until 1961. For his military service, he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

After his service, civilian Spires joined the Nassau County Police Department, serving the community for 31 years and retiring as a Sergeant.

Mr Spires was a long-time neighbor and good friend of our own Bill Michell
