Twin Tiers Honor Flight Benefit

"Ride for the Memories"

The 3rd Annual Benefit "Ride for the Memories" raises money for the Twin Tiers Honor Flight Hub to take our senior Veterans to Washington D.C. to see the Monuments and Memorials their generation earned in battle. We also take them to Arlington National Cemetery and get them in to see the amazing "Changing of the Guard", and this all at absolutely no cost to them.

From RC Nigel Heaton: Those of you going to Twin Tiers Honor Flight Fund Raiser from the Rochester area. I will be at Starbucks 100 Center Pl Dr, Rochester, NY 14615 at 6:45 am KSU at 7:00 am sharp (Starbucks, West Ridge Rd. at Rt 390 on-ramp). This location is very convenient to the 390 on-ramp.
I’ll be taking Rt. 390 south to 490 East to Thruway toll booth # 45 in Victor, ETA at toll booth 7:25 am. Will head East Rt. 90 to Geneva toll booth # 42 and take Rt. 14 South all the way to Montour Falls. Then Rt. 224 South to Finger Lakes Harley Davidson. Anyone along this route is welcome to fall in with us. It is estimated entire route to be 2 hours 10 minutes from Starbucks. Please use Google Maps to estimate time to your fall in location.

Registration starts at 8 a.m.

There will be a Flag Line for opening Ceremonies at 10:00 a.m., please bring your flag.

This is a law enforcement escorted ride that starts and ends at Finger Lakes Harley Davidson.
We will have 4 Veteran's Support Organizations on hand
1. New York Warrior Alliance
2. Wounded Warriors in Action
3. Hero's Home Advantage
4. Truckin 4 Troops
We also have our good friend Shawn Crandall coming with the Mobile V.A Center

We'll be honoring 3 Law Enforcement Agencies, 1st Responders and several Gulf War Veterans. And the grand finale, we'll be giving away a Harley Davidson Trike to a very deserving Wounded Warrior Veteran.

Cost is $15 per person.
Big Phat Daddy's BBQ run by a Gold Star Family will be on hand to serve dinner when we get back. We will be dedicating this year's ride to their son, U.S.Army SP4 Ryan P. Jayne who was KIA along with 2 other Corning area soldiers in 2012.
This event is rain or shine, our Vets didn't care what the weather was when they fought and protected our homeland and neither will we!!

Flags & Water:

Flags will not be provided, please bring your own.
Large Bike Flags will be needed.
Water WILL be provided, please bring your own.
