Robert E. Schunk

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Robert E. Schunk has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services.  Mr. Schunk, 71, passed on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

Bob served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, and was honorably discharged in at the rank of Sergeant in 1968.  He was a Forester with Niagara Mohawk, retiring after 30 years. Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus the Stillwater Rescue Squad, the Bethany Fire Department, and the American Legion.  He also was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, gardening flowers, cutting wood, and NASCAR.  He also spent a lot of time caring for the fish in his koi pond.
