ABOUT THE MISSION:

Another one of our Greatest Generation Heroes has passed on. The family of US Marine Corps Cpl Frank Jerome Erickson, 93, has requested the participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in his military honors funeral.
 
Cpl Erickson, attached to the 3rd Marine Division, was a survivor of the 36 day battle for Iwo Jima. Initially attached to a howitzer team he was reassigned to a Rifle Company when he lost most of his hearing.
 
He returned home to marry, raise a family and earn a Law Degree. He formed his own Law Firm specializing in Real Estate Law.
 
The Patriot Guard Riders will be privileged to render Honor, Dignity and Respect for the life and service of Frank Jerome Erickson.
