Charles D. Ward

USN - Gulf/ODS
Patriot Guard Rider

Saratoga Springs, NY - Fair Haven, VT - 06-30-18



The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to attend the funeral services of Mr. Charles D. Ward.  While in high school, he entered the US Navy's Delayed Entry Program and completed basic training at the US Navy Great Lakes Recruits Training Command between his Junior and sensior years of high school.  After graduation, he continued onto Boatswains Mate training and was assigned to the USS Iwo Jima.  He was honorably discharged at the ranting of Boatswains Mate 2nd Class.

Chuck was a Life Member of the American Legion in Hudson Falls, and also a member of: the American Legion Riders in Hudson Falls, a Patriot Guard Rider and just recently joined the US Navy Flight Deck Association. He enjoyed traveling around the world and last completed a trip on his bike for one month around the US.

Chuck will have two viewings; one in Saratoga Springs and one in Fair Haven VT. He will then be cremated and per his wishes he will be buried at sea with full military honors. We will be there to render honor, dignity and respect for the life and service of Charles D. "Chuck" Ward.
