The family of retired law enforcement officer Jacob Bendel has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his military honors funeral services. The family reports that Mr. Bendel, 77, was a decorated US Army Vietnam Veteran.  Mr. Bendel later served with the Mount Vernon Police Department, retiring in 1998.  He was a member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.

The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to have the opportunity to stand for and render dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of Officer Jacob Bendel.
