ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Terence Michael Lorino has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his funeral services. Mr. Lorino, 38, passed on Monday, May 14, 2018.

He was a longtime member of FDNY Engine 38 Ladder 51, "Da Dawg House" in Bronx, NY, and also a US Navy veteran. Mr. Lorino enlisted in the Navy on 24 May, 1999., and served on board the U.S.S. Memphis (SSN 691), a Los Angeles-class nuclear submarine. His MOS was MM-4721, MK19 Gyrocompass Systems Maintenance Technician, and Navigation Equipment Operator. For his service, he was awarded; Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal w/ V device (3rd Award); National Defense Service Medal; Navy Expeditionary Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Navy “E” Ribbon; SEA Service Deployment Ribbon; Navy Arctic Service Ribbon; Good Conduct Medal and Enlisted Submarine Breast Insignia. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Petty Office First Class (PO1) on 23 May, 2004.

Escort from funeral home to leave approximately 10:30AM to 11AM mass at church.

Following 11AM mass at church, PGR will escort procession to Nassau Suffolk Crematory, 132 Ronkonkoma Ave, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779, where we will stand a flag line for a short final service
