Edward J. Powers Sr., Veteran

We have been requested by my friend Edward J. Powers Sr. to stand for him at his military honors funeral. Edward, 81, of Glens Falls, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018.

Edward joined the US Army in 1960 and served until 1962, achieving the rank of Private First Class. After the service, he came home and was a self-employed home decorator and all around handyman for most of his working career. Edward was a member of American Legion Post 574 of Hudson Falls.

The Patriot Guard Riders will be honored to stand for Edward J. Powers Sr., US Army, Vietnam era veteran, to render honor, dignity, and respect for his life and service.

Special Instructions:

Interment with military honors scheduled for 2:00 PM. Please stage quietly and be aware of any services already in progress. Please do not gather at the Visitor Center.

Flags Will NOT Be Provided, Please Bring Your Own.
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
