The family of Charles A. Irwin has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. 

Charles, 97, was a WWII, US Navy veteran. He served aboard the USS Leo (AKA-60), an Andromeda-class attack cargo ship, and the The Prairie State (IX-15). Charles was a Navy cook and saw action on Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to have the opportunity to stand for and render dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of Mr. Charles A. Irwin, United States Navy, WWII veteran and "Greatest Generation" hero.

Primary Staging Time: 12:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass begins 10 AM in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Will likely end 11AM - arrival to Calverton expected 12:30PM.

Flags Will NOT Be Provided, Please Bring Your Own.
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
