ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the U.S. Army and law enforcement service of Frank B. Mesiah of Buffalo, who passed away on April 27, 2018. Mr. Mesiah served almost 3 years active duty from 1950-1953, with an MOS of 1814-Radio Operations, Communications. He was honorably discharged on 20 August 1953 with the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7), a significant accomplishment in less than 3 years duty. Mr. Mesiah went on to serve as a Buffalo Police Officer for 13 years from 1954-1967. Mr. Mesiah was a huge presence in Buffalo, not only in law enforcement, but in the area of education. Calling Hours from 10:00-11:00 AM.
Funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Followed by dignified transfer and escort to Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kenmore, for entombment in Ascension Chapel Mausoleum with military honors.
Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American flag or US Army flag, dress for the weather and ensure your large flags are properly placed and securely attached.
Please do whatever you're able to help honor the Army and law enforcement service of Mr. Mesiah and to support his family and Buffalo community.
