Honor Mission

Clarence A. Heck, Veteran
USA Fire - Korea
West Seneca, New York - 13 Apr 2018


ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of Korean War veteran and long time fireman Clarence Arthur "Art" Heck of West Seneca, who passed away on April 8, 2018. Mr. Heck served active duty in the US Army from 1952-1954, including 12 months in Korea with the 38th Infantry Regiment (his MOS is not listed.) Mr. Heck was honorably discharged on 27 January 1954 with the rank of Corporal and earned the following awards: Army Good Conduct Medal; Combat Infantry Badge; National Defense Service Medal; Korean Service Medal w/3 Bronze Battle Stars; United Nations Service Medal. Mr. Heck was also a 69-year member of the East Seneca Fire Company.

Prayer Service at the FH at 9:30 AM, followed by escort to Ebenezer Church of Christ, 630 Main St., West Seneca, where a funeral service is schedued for 10:00 AM. Upon completion of funeral service, escort to Mt. Hope Cemetery for interment with military honors.

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American flag or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.
