Honor Mission

LTC Howard D. Wildove, Veteran
Schuylerville, New York - 02 Apr 2018

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family to stand for LTC Howard David Wildove. Colonel Wildove, 76, was born in Albany and graduated from the Milne School in 1959. He received a Bachelor's from the University of South Dakota in 1963, and enlisted in the United States Air Force. 

Colonel Wildove served as a navigator on a C-130 Hercules while assigned to the 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton Air National Guard Base, Scotia, New York. During his 20 years of service, Colonel Wildove received 13 Air Medals and numerous other awards and accolades. After serving his country, he was employed as a Business Adviser at the Small Business Development Center in Albany, NY, specializing in veteran services.

Colonel Wildove was a member of the Mohawk Post #1450 American Legion in Clifton Park, a member of the Officers Association of America, and the "NAVS" Nation Association of Uniform Services.
