Honor Mission

Robert F. Bloodgood
USMC Korean War Era Veteran
and Firefighter
Schuylerville, New York - 26 Mar 2018


The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand for and participate in the military honors funeral services of Mr. Robert F. Bloodgood. Mr. Bloodgood, 88, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

Mr. Bloodgood served in the United States Marine Corps between 1952 and 1954, and later went to work for the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation for the next 40 years. After retiring, he took a job caring for Guilderland’s town parks for another 20 years. Bob was active with many organizations including the VFW where he served as Commander of the Albany County Council from 1992-93. He was most dedicated to the Westmere Fire Department where he was an active volunteer firefighter for as long as his health would allow. He continued to serve loyally and holds the honor of being a 52 year life member.

Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
