As we are approaching the holiday season, it's an excellent time to remember our fallen and their ultimate sacrafice; another way to remember them is to sponsor a wreath.  Sponsoring a wreath through Wreaths Across America is easy.

Honor Mission

Charles R. Frear, Veteran
USMC, USN, USAF - Korea

Rochester, New York - 10 Mar 2018

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Charles R Frear has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend their memorial service honoring a true American hero.

Mr. Frear served with honor during the Korean War while performing his duties at the United States Marine Corps Command Headquarters in South Korea. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, followed by the United States Air Force, receiving honorable service awards from all three military branches of service. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force at the rank of Staff Sergeant.

His love of country and community did not stop with his discharge from the USAF. Charlie was co-owner of Frear Chevrolet, and an active member of the community. He served on the boards of Unity Hospital, the Salvation Army of Rochester, Mercy Flight Central, and the Shriners Hospital for Children in Erie, PA.

Portions of the above narrative are contained in Mr. Frear's obituary which may be viewed on the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral and Cremation Chapel website at: http://www.meesonfamily.com/obituary...ter-NY/1784698
