Philip G. Stolarski, Sr., Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand in Honor of the WWII Service of Philip G. Stolarski, Sr., who passed away yesterday, February 5th. Mr. Stolarski served Active Duty in the US Army for 3 years from 1943-1946, including 10 months in both the European and Asiatic-Pacific Theaters. His MOS was 745-Rifle NCO, and he was attached to Company E, 387th Infantry. Often in charge of 40 soldiers in a Rifle Platoon, Mr. Stolarski achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant, and saw action in the Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns. He was Honorably Discharged on 2 March 1946, and was awarded the following: Combat Infantry Badge; Army Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal w/2 Campaign Stars; Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal; WWII Victory Medal; Expert Infantryman Badge; Rifle Expert Badge.

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American Flag or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
