ABOUT THE MISSION:

Col. Intini enlisted in January 1964 while still a senior in High School. He served as a soldier and aircraft mechanic. He graduated OCS in 1969 as a 2nd Lt. He served in both staff and command positions, among them platoon leader A Co. 42nd Combat Aviation Battalion, Commander F Company 42nd Maintenance Battalion. He received numerous awards and decorations. He retired in 2000 and in 2001 went to work at Fort Hamilton as Alternate Project Manager eventually becoming Project Manager and receiving awards for performance in that position.

Forecast is for rain so we will try to stand inside. However bring proper clothing in case we cannot get all inside, then we will rotate. Viewing is 7-9pm but members need only stand the time they are able. Please bring your flags.

There will be a short prayer service at 11:15 with an expected departure of 11:40 to Long Island National Cemetery, Wellwood Ave. , Farmingdale, NY. Members responding to cemetery meet RC Charlie Ranft by 12 noon at administration parking. Our ETA is 12:15pm LINC.
