Edward E. Gabrykewicz, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Edward E. Gabrykewicz has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Edward, 85, passed on January 27, 2018.

A Korean War Era Veteran, Edward joined the United States Air Force on 11 April 1952, and trained as a Jet Aircraft Mechanic. For his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and was Honorably discharged at the rank of Airman 3rd Class (A3c).

Ed was the owner and operator of Gabry's Marine Sales in Colonie for over 38 years, and was a bus driver for the North Colonie School District.

Staging at the church for the arrival of the funeral cortege. Mass of Christian Burial scheduled for 12:00 PM, followed by interment at Saratoga National Cemetery.
