Francis J. Nolan, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Francis J. "Frank" Nolan has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Frank, 91, passed on January 11, 2018.

Born in Albany, N.Y., Frank was raised in Rensselaer and attended Vincentian Institute. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy Amphibious Forces during WWII, and later served in Korea on the LST-979. He later served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve in Poughkeepsie N.Y.

After his service, Frank graduated from Siena College with a Business degree, and rose through the ranks from auditor to the Director of Export Financing at General Motors Acceptance Corporation.

Flag line at the church for the arrival of the funeral cortege. Mass of Christian Burial scheduled for 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre, East Greenbush, NY.
