Carmen J. Rutolo, Veteran

The family of Carmen J. "Carm" Rutolo has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Carm, 82, passed on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

Born and educated in Rensselaer, NY, Carm entered the United States Army in April of 1957. He attended training at the Army's Southeastern Signal School, Fort Gordon Georgia and was later stationed at Fort Dix in New Jersey. He was Honorably discharged in July of 1962 at the rank of Sergeant (E-5).

Carm was employed as a truck driver for the Zappala Block Co, and served as Chief of Police for the Town of Poestenkill. He was a Lifetime member of the Rensselaer County Law Enforcement Association.

Staging at the church with flag line for the arrival of the funeral cortege. Mass of Christian Burial scheduled for 09:30 AM, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.

Extended weather forecast calls for high in the lower 30's. Please dress appropriately.

Flags & Water:

Flags Will NOT Be Provided, Please Bring Your Own.
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
