ABOUT THE MISSION:
Mr. Hoyt served in the US Army from 1968-1969, including over 14 months in Vietnam with the 2nd Battalion, 77th Artillery Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was awarded an Army Commendation Medal w/"V" Device for heroism on 29 Feb 1969 during an intense enemy attack at the Dau Tieng Base Camp. Mr. Hoyt was Honorably Discharged on 5 December 1969 with the rank of Specialist5 (E-5.)
