ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand in Honor of another WWII Hero. Alex A. Napierala Jr. of Cheektowaga passed away on December 22nd at the age of 93. Mr. Napierala Served Active Duty in the US Navy from 1943-1946, and Naval Reserves until 1953. His rating was Electrician's Mate 2nd Class (E-5), and he served aboard the Destroyer Escort USS Weaver in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Honorably Discharged on 19 March 1946, EM2 Napierala earned the following awards: Navy Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/7 Battle Stars; Philippine Liberation Medal w/1 Star; WWII Victory Medal.

Followed by Dignified Escort to Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, 700 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd., Buffalo.
Interment with Military Honors.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American Flag or US Navy flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached to your vehicles.
Please do what you're able to help Honor the WWII Naval Service of Alex A. Napierala, Jr. and to support his proud and loving family.
NOTE: We have another Mission at the same time in Falconer (George Brown LRC.) Please try to support one of the Missions.
