Gaston Sioui, Jr., Veteran

The Family of Gaston Sioui, Jr. has requested PGR participation in his military honors funeral services. He was 69 years old. He passed away on December 11th.
Born on September 23, 1948 in Corinth, he was the son of the late Lilianne (Bedard) Sioui and Gaston J. Sioui, Sr.

On May 26, 1973 he married Helena Clements. Helena passed away on April 19, 2000 following 27 years of marriage.

He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he began a 20+ year career at General Electric Company in Fort Edward as a treat operator.

In his "retirement", Gaston worked the barbeque at the Painted Pony Rodeo for many years.

Gaston was a member and past commander of the Hudson Sacandaga V.F.W. Post 5836, Hadley as well as a member of the William J. Varney American Legion Post 862, Lake Luzerne.

He enjoyed motorcycles, car shows, collecting, hunting, fishing and he loved his dog Dusty.
