The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to report that for the first time since the inception of the Wreaths Across America program, on December 16, 2017, a Holiday Wreath was placed on every gravesite at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. The Patriot Guard Riders, along with several thousand community volunteers respectfully placed those wreaths, but much more importantly, took the time to honor and remember over 11,000 of our fallen soldiers, sailors and airmen resting in that place of honor.

We wish to sincerely thank everyone who made that goal a reality, particularly those who contributed via the PGRNY “Three For Two” program. Through that program, fully 100% of your contribution went toward the sponsorship of wreaths, with a total of almost 3,800 wreaths (over 1/3 of the total) provided….a truly outstanding effort.

Now that the bar has been set, we look forward to achieving that goal each and every year going forward, and we are confident that with your generous help and support, we can do just that. Once again, our heartfelt thanks for honoring and remembering our fallen heroes.

We are honored to have been invited to Stand Tall and Silent for SP5 Peter Sinacore, who faithfully served our country in Special Forces as a Green Beret in multiple tours in Vietnam.

Memorial Service and Viewing at Church on Veterans Day, 11 November 2017.
While Veterans Day is busy for the PGR across the country, please note that this Mission is from 2PM to 5PM, after most other commemorations end. Please make an effort to attend this Flag Line, even for a little while.
We expect a significant turnout from Rolling Thunder Chapters 2 & 6, along with members of LU3MC, for Mr. Sinacore's final ride.
You'll find it conveniently located a short distance from the Grand Central Parkway in Queens Village.

Saturday promises to be sunny but cold; no rain predicted as of 8 November.

Plan to begin escort, leaving church, between 1100 & 1130hrs.   

There is no service at the church on Monday; this is the starting point of our escort to LINC. Mr Sinacore's cremains will be placed into the columbarium, with a Flag Line provided by the PGR.
If you plan to stage directly at cemetery, please arrive no later than 1145hrs for arrival of procession as early as Noon.
Arrival expected to LINC at 12:00 PM Monday, 13 November 2017.
If attending directly at cemetery, please stage near administration and await further direction.

Monday holds potential for rain, still chilly. Dress appropriately.
