Honor Mission

David V. Liburdi
US Army,
Vietnam Veteran

MULTI-CITY, New York - 08 Nov 2017


The family of David V. Liburdi has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Liburdi, 68 of Latham, passed on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush.

Born in Troy, on March 8, 1949, Mr. Liburdi was a U.S. Army veteran. Inducted July 19, 1968, he completed a tour of duty in Vietnam and was Honorably discharged April 29, 1970. His MOS was 94B20, Cook. For his service, Mr. Liburdi was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and two Overseas Bars.

After his discharge, Mr. Liburdi worked as a Machinist employed by Watervliet Arsenal for over 27 years until his retirement in 1994. He also previously worked for the Leonard Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, K-Mart in Latham and Wal-Mart in Brunswick. He and his family resided in Waterford from 1974 until 2009.

Our veterans are in need!

The Rochester Area HOTH Warehouse can always use your gently used furniture.  The ROC HOTH Warehouse will be picking up and delivering on November 18, 2017.  The second Saturday is Veterans Day and many PGRNY events are scheduled for that day.  If you have items that meet the criteria, are located in the Rochester area, and would like us to pickup those items, please go to the Donate Items section and either call us at 585-866-1747 or fill out the Furniture Donation Request Pick-up Request Form.  You are welcome to bring your donations to the ROC Warehouse by appointment only.
