Honor Mission

Clifford B. Allison, Veteran
Livonia, New York - 02 Nov 2017


We have been requested to stand in Honor of the dual Military Service of Clifford B. Allison, formerly of Conesus, who passed away on October 29th. Mr. Allison served in the US Army Corps of Engineers for 18 months (1946-1947) at the end of WWII. His MOS was 050-General Carpenter, and he was Honorably Discharged on 15 July 1947 with the rank of PFC, and earned the American Campaign Medal and WWII Victory Medal. Three weeks later Mr. Allison enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and served 2-1/2 years. He was a gunner on a Quad-mount 40 mm, and was proud to serve aboard the USS Coral Sea (CVE-43) on it's maiden voyage. Mr. Allison was Honorably Discharged on 15 February 1950 with the rating of Airman Apprentice (AA.) For his US Army Service, Mr. Allison earned the American Campaign Medal and WWII Victory Medal.

Followed by Dignified Escort to Oakridge Cemetery, South Livonia for Burial with Military Honors.
Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American Flag, US Army flag or US Navy flag, and dress for the weather.
If you choose to ride, please ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached.

Our veterans are in need!

The Rochester Area HOTH Warehouse can always use your gently used furniture.  The ROC HOTH Warehouse will be picking up and delivering on November 18, 2017.  The second Saturday is Veterans Day and many PGRNY events are scheduled for that day.  If you have items that meet the criteria, are located in the Rochester area, and would like us to pickup those items, please go to the Donate Items section and either call us at 585-866-1747 or fill out the Furniture Donation Request Pick-up Request Form.  You are welcome to bring your donations to the ROC Warehouse by appointment only.
