Honor Mission

Frederick Marazita, Sr., Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand in Honor of another WW-II Hero. Frederick Marazita, Sr. of North Tonawanda passed away on October 23rd at the age of 97. He served with the U.S. Army Air Forces from 1942-1945, with an MOS of 114-Machinist. He saw duty in the European Theater for 19 months with M Company, 2013th Ordnance. He was Honorably Discharged on 7 December 1945 with the rank of PFC, and was awarded: Army Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal; WW-II Victory Medal.

Flag Line for arrival of family and friends.  Funeral Service at the FH at 10:00 A.M. Followed by Dignified Escort to Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Elmwood Ave., N. Tonawanda for Burial with Military Honors. Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American Flag or U.S. Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached.

Acknowledging that we have been and continue to be very busy in Region-1, please do what you're able to help Honor the WW-II Service of Mr. Marazita and to support his proud and loving family.

Our veterans are in need!

The Rochester Area HOTH Warehouse can always use your gently used furniture.  The ROC HOTH Warehouse will be picking up and delivering on November 18, 2017.  The second Saturday is Veterans Day and many PGRNY events are scheduled for that day.  If you have items that meet the criteria, are located in the Rochester area, and would like us to pickup those items, please go to the Donate Items section and either call us at 585-866-1747 or fill out the Furniture Donation Request Pick-up Request Form.  You are welcome to bring your donations to the ROC Warehouse by appointment only.
