As we are approaching the holiday season, it's an excellent time to remember our fallen and their ultimate sacrafice; another way to remember them is to sponsor a wreath.  Sponsoring a wreath through Wreaths Across America is easy.

The Patriot Guard Riders of Eastern New York have once again been granted Group Sponsorship status within the Wreaths Across America organization. So what does our Group Sponsorship status mean? Well for every two wreaths that are ordered - using our group codes – Wreaths Across America will donate another wreath - we get 3 for 2.

Honor Mission

Howard Ross, Veteran
North Tonawanda, New York - 27 Oct 2017

We have been requested to stand in Honor of another WWII Hero. Howard Ross of North Tonawanda passed away on October 23rd at the age of 94. Mr. Ross served Active Duty in the US Army from 1943-1946, including over 26 months in the Pacific Theater. His MOS was 518-Ground Observer, and he served under the command of the US Army Air Forces with the 558th Signal Aircraft Warning Battalion in the Central Burma-India areas. The unit was responsible for going out beyond the front lines to spot enemy aircraft with a recent invention called "radar." I would recommend you search Mr. Ross's name in the Buffalo News archives to read about his amazing experiences.
