ABOUT THE MISSION:

Gerald “Jerry” J. Smith died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at home. Jerry was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and the Albany Business College. He worked at ALCO (American Locomotive Co.) and worked as a Personnel Manager for the former Maqua Co. He then went on to Ellis Hospital, becoming a Vice President. After retiring from Ellis Hospital, he joined Schenectady Radiology as their Business Manager. Jerry served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, from 1952 to 1956, and attained the rank of Airman First Class.

Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, hiking with family and friends, creating paths through the woods in Mariaville, camping and traveling.

wHOTH Assistance Flyer

Our veterans are in need!

The Rochester Area HOTH Warehouse can always use your gently used furniture.  The ROC HOTH Warehouse will be picking up and delivering on November 18, 2017.  The second Saturday is Veterans Day and many PGRNY events are scheduled for that day.  If you have items that meet the criteria, are located in the Rochester area, and would like us to pickup those items, please go to the Donate Items section and either call us at 585-866-1747 or fill out the Furniture Donation Request Pick-up Request Form.  You are welcome to bring your donations to the ROC Warehouse by appointment only. Call to schedule your appointment for dropping off your donations today!  Your donations are GREATLY appreciated and tax deductible.
