We have been requested to stand in Honor of the Vietnam War Service of Richard D. Beardsley, who passed away on September 14th. Mr. Beardsley served 4 years Active Duty in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1967, including 2 years aboard the USS Enterprise. He was Honorably Discharged on 31 July 1967 with a rating of Seaman (SN, E-3), and was awarded: Navy Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Assemble to provide Dignified Escort to St. Matthews Catholic Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road (Rt. 20A), Livonia.
Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
Following Mass, Military Honors at the church.
No Cemetery.
Please arrive prepared with a clean 3x5 American Flag or US Navy flag, dress for the weather, and bring a beverage for hydration.
Please ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached.
SPECIAL NOTE: Saturday is a very busy day in Region-1, with 7 Missions. Please do whatever you're able to help support one or more of these Missions.
