Special Instructions:

Note: We have two KIA's coming home after years separated from their families. Sgt. Harold E. Barney Kuhn and Cpl. William Sadewasser will be arriving at the Greater Rochester International Airport shortly before Noon.

At the time of this posting the Family wants only the Military and PGR present for the Honorable Transfer from the plane to the Hearse.
We do not know if with Two KIA's that the Airport will have enough capacity to ensure safety for Family, Military and PGR. Please be prepared with your clean Flag for the Honorable Transfer but also the last minute denial of us getting on the Tarmac.

The Family of William Sadewasser has asked for privacy on this day. They do not want Media, microphones or picture taking by ANYONE!!!! Those of you in the PGR who would normally take respectful pictures DO NOT on this day bring your camera!!
The FD will arrange for a specific location for the Media. Family members who do wish to say something will have the opportunity to approach them, but it is our secondary job to make sure the family is not interrupted.

On conclusion of the Honorable Transfer the Hearses will exit through Gate 5 where the PGR will Present Arms until they come to a stop. At that time they will give the Family and PGR time to assemble into their respective positions. The PGR will lead Cpl William Sadewasser back to the Burger Funeral Home via the Village of Spencerport.

RC Skip Merrick will take Sgt Harold Kuhn to his destination in the Southern Tier please see Skip's Posting for details.

Please come out to this important Mission, so that no matter how long it has been, the Families will know their loved ones are not forgotten.

Please watch for updates for Saturdays Mission.
