Honor Mission

Stephen J. Tomasic, Veteran
USMC - Korean Era
Buffalo, New York - 07 Sep 2017


ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand in Honor of the U.S. Marine Corps Service of prominent businessman Stephen J. Tomasic of Lackawanna, NY, who passed away on August 22nd. Mr. Tomasic had been serving in the USMC Reserves when he was called to Active Duty on 11 January 1953. He served 2 years, with an MOS of 6413 - Aircraft Communication System Technician. On 10 January 1955 at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC, Mr. Tomasic was Honorably Discharged with the rank of Corporal (E-4) and earned the National Defense Service Medal.

Assemble at the FH in preparation for Dignified Escort to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Road, Orchard Park, NY.
Escort route will go past the business of Mr. Tomasic as a final salute.
Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M, with Military Honors. (No Cemetery)
Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American Flag or USMC flag and dress for the weather.
Please ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached. Please do whatever you're able to help Honor the USMC Service of Mr. Tomasic, and to support his very proud and loving family. The family has made it very clear that they will appreciate a strong PGR presence.

wHOTH Assistance Flyer

Our veterans are in need!

The Rochester Area HOTH Warehouse can always use your gently used furniture.  The ROC HOTH Warehouse will be picking up and delivering on November 18, 2017.  The second Saturday is Veterans Day and many PGRNY events are scheduled for that day.  If you have items that meet the criteria, are located in the Rochester area, and would like us to pickup those items, please go to the Donate Items section and either call us at 585-866-1747 or fill out the Furniture Donation Request Pick-up Request Form.  You are welcome to bring your donations to the ROC Warehouse by appointment only.
