Honor Mission

Gerald R. "Jerry" Gibas, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand in Honor of the U.S. Army Vietnam War Service of Gerald R. "Jerry" Gibas of the Town of Niagara, who passed away on August 5th. Mr. Gibas served from 1966-1968, including 12 months in Vietnam with Company C, 3rd Infantry Battalion, 47th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division. His MOS was 11B40-Light Weapons Infantryman, and he was Honorably Discharged on 12 January 1968 with the rank of Sergeant (E-5.) For his brave Service to our Nation, Sgt. Gibas was awarded: Army Commendation Medal; Purple Heart Medal; Combat Infantryman Badge; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Please do whatever you are able to help Honor the Vietnam War Service of Mr. Gibas, and to support his loving and grieving family.
